بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
Labbayka Allaahumma Labbayk! Labbayka laa shareeka laka Labbayk!
Here I am, Oh Allaah! Here I am!
Very far from Your House, here I am!
I have never been to Your House, Oh Allaah, here I am!
Every year the month of Dhul Hijjah is such an exam!
I see Your guests flocking to Your House, but here I am!
Very far from the city of Makkah, here I am!
With tears in my eyes, and my heart full of gloom
I see the blessed souls perform Tawaaf al-Qudoom
I helplessly whisper to You in Sujood, here I am
Very far from the Mataaf al-Haraam, here I am!
My soul recalls the running of Haajar between Safa and Marwa
I see Your guests perform Saa'i with devotion in Mas'aa
Then they head towards Mina, while here I am
Very far from the City of Tents, here I am!
When the Day of Arafah dawns and the crowds gather
When they supplicate and weep for Your Forgiveness, O Pardoner!
With tears of repentance, longing and desperation, here I am
Very far from that blessed gathering, here I am!
When Your guests spend the night in Muzdalifah, in supplications and Dhikr
When Mashar al-Haraam echoes with Laa ilaaha illallaah! ALLAAHU AKBAR!
Proclaiming Your Oneness, Oh Allaah, here I am
Very far from that glorious site, here I am!
At sunrise as Your guests hasten through Wadi Mahsar, to Mina
When they say "Allaahu Akbar!" while stoning the Jamaraah
I cannot stone the enemy, Oh Allaah, here I am
Very far from that symbolic stoning, here I am!
When Your guests return to Your House for Tawaaf and Saa'i
And they again return to Mina and stone the enemy
Those two nights complete their pilgrimage, Oh Allaah, here I am!
Very far from performing this ibaadah, here I am!
When Your guests bid farewell to Your House with Tawaaf al-Wadaa
When they are filled with sadness to depart after this great ibaadah
My heart prays that You invite me soon to Your House, here I am
Very far from Your House, Oh Allaah! Here I am!!!
