This world remains a never ending test to a believer. One of the worst calamities is becoming the victim of people involved in Sihr and you can hardly do anything to them. A regular morning can turn into a nightmare when you witness strange and awful things at home.
Sihr destroys individuals, families, businesses, health - the entire life and world is ruined by the practitioners of this evil. A person who believes in Allaah firmly would never fall into a tit for tat for this heinous act done towards him and his family.
True believes are those who increase in Tawbah and seek help only through the Ruqyah in Sunnah style. This looks long and tiring. In fact, the while life of a person would then be confined to seeking Allaah’s protection. But then, that is what you have been chosen for. Never fall into shirk when confronted with such a situation - these are the moments when Shaytan makes us weak and we try to find support and solace through fabricated means. That relief would be only temporary and would later he will attack with more power, making you steep further. But if he is satisfied with your lost Eemaan then the devil will stay pleased with you and may help you to cherish this life.
But it is not the end. This world will lead you to an eternal place. And there, imagine standing before The Lord of The Worlds. He will question you why you did not rely only on Him? Was He not sufficient for you? Did you doubt His power and His ability? These questions are unavoidable and the fate of those who associate partners with Him, or make use of prohibited things to cure themselves would definitely be painful, very painful.
The most important thing to remember is that, Sihr would never effect without the will of Allaah. Allaah (SWT), through His immense knowledge and wisdom, gave sihr its ability and effect. It is like acid. Acid is something made by Allaah and He gave it the power to literally burn and destroy its target. Similarly, although Sihr has been given its power, it effects only when Allaah allows it to. Therefore, supplications to seek the protection of Allaah from this evil and the evil doers have been provided in the authentic Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (pbuh).
Agreed! It’s difficult to battle these people who attack you hiding behind the shield of Shaytan. But when you make your Eemaan stronger and seek help only from Allaah, then In sha Allaah, He will cause them to be defeated. He will ease everything for you and their end would be terrible - maybe here, in this world itself, if He so wills.
May Allaah protect us from the evil and the evil-doers. May He bring an end to their deeds, if not through guidance, then through their imminent destruction. May He keep us steadfast on the righteous path and save us from falling into the traps of Shaytan. (Ameen)
