This world is nothing but darkness illusioned
Temptations belittling the lawfully provisioned
Enlighten your heart to reflect the rays far away
Enshrouded those remain by hopelessness and dismay
Strength and Guidance required to travel this land
Are aforehand provided, nothing here is unplanned
This world can never be comforting, it is a complicated test
It’s only a pathway steadily treading towards the Best
There will be days of longing and moments of despair
When fear envelopes you and life seems unfair
When you are hurt repeatedly and confusions surround
When you can no longer stand, find peace on the ground
Whisper prostrating to reach The All-Hearing
He knows your suffering, He is The All-Knowing
He is the All-Powerful, has control over everything
If He sees you walking, He comes to you running
With complete faith when you raise hands begging
He hates to leave them empty, without answering
Know that Dua is Your ultimate weapon of power
A beautiful gift from Him to battle His Qadr
He is The Creator of everything, He is The Almighty
Trust Him blindly that He has a Sovereign Remedy
When you associate no partner and seek only from Him
Be assured of His help, of His Mercy eternally sublime
Your tears are not worthy of these worldly sights
He treasures them when you hand Him all your plights
He loves you so very much, for He is Al-Wudood
He will fix everything in response to your Sujood
