For you have to walk a way too long 

When I hold your hand to walk along

I smile seeing you feel so strong 

My Heart, to such addiction do not be prone 

My company should only be a stepping stone 

Towards a stronger “you” when you are grown

I want to watch you confidently walk alone

My World, you are so precious - you do not know 

A seed of persistence which I did sow 

Into a tree of righteousness may you grow 

May an ocean of success under your feet flow 

My Life, I secretly hear you when you pray 

It touches my soul to hear what you say 

You ask The Almighty to let me stay

With you, here, till the very last day! 

My Pride, I wish to live with you to see you succeed 

Towards a brighter life I wish to see you proceed 

A day would but come when I would have to leave 

And I pray that it comes while you are left behind to grieve 

My Beloved Son, may you live a 100 content years 

May you grow into a man with no guilt, no fears

May your tears be those which only increase you in purity 

May you live on long, very strong to be My Continuous Charity
